No leaves yet

Looking back in my archives, usually this time of year there are already little leaves and buds on the trees. This is not the case this year. Everything is still very bare.

(PS) I just noticed today is already my 100th post! Time flies...

This looks like a shower from heaven pictured by a impressionist! Very nice!

I'm sure this tree is amazing when it is completely leafed out...but we won't see through it to the sky. Thanks for sharing something so beautiful. Happy SWF!

Trees are amazing living things and interesting dead things. I prefer the living ones and all they do for us. I am now even more interested in bamboo, a grass, that does a lot more for the environment and mankind than the trees. Still, I planted a white oak seedling from my old schoolhouse and it is now about 30-35 years old and about 30-35 feet tall and about that through. It is a splendid front porch in the summer when it is hot and dry outside in the sun.

I do like your tree photo. It reminds me of a giant tree that I saw on a blog the other day. It must have been 15 or 20 feet through the center of the trunk. It looked like an old oak but I am not sure. It would have been extra special to just go and set down under it.

Congrats on your 100th post.

No leaves--same here. We still have a little snow left too. Here anyway--just go down the hill and there is none. ODD!!

I do like the look of bare trees.
I just went through some of last summers pic and everything was so green and lush it looked like a jungle. Here's hoping. MB

Congratulations on 100 and a lovely image to go with it. Honestly it gets easier now you've hit your stride.
