
This is a choice from my archives. A few years ago during this time of year, I was able to walk up to the view point at Larch Mountain, which is about 25 miles east of Portland. This year, however, the road is still closed due to snow. This view is looking west towards the ocean, with the Columbia River winding below.

For 3 summers I stayed part of the time at a fire lookout in southern Oregon. Your pic reminded me of the view from there. Super shot. And the glory of the PNW.
