Todays Flower is a beautiful purple mountain lupine that I saw this weekend at Little Crater Lake. There were just meadows full of them. I may go back sometime with my plant digging license and bring one home for my garden ;)
On another note, I changed the name of my blog today to Hood Photo Blog. In the months I have been doing this blogging, I rarely post a picture of my current hometown of Gresham. More likely, I am posting of the many areas around the Mt Hood area and beyond. I think it is a more appropriate description of what I am blogging about. Thanks for following!!!

I like the new name. Do you have a new name too?
I love fields of Lupin but I don't care for them in my garden. I don't know why. On I5 past Lynnwood, Wa. the sides of the freeway are filled with Blue Lupin. It is truly eyecatching. Up by me the freeway flowers are white daisies. MB
Very beautiful, I love to find fields of these to photograph.
The Mount Hood area is beautiful as are many parts of OR and WA, perfect blog name.
Have a wonderful day,
