Silver Falls

Todays picture is of the South Falls at Silver Falls State Park. The state park boasts 25 miles of hiking trails that visits 10 gorgeous waterfalls. South Falls is the most popular and easily accessible of the waterfalls. It is also the tallest free-falling drop at 177 feet. If you look closely, you can see the hikers walking on the trail behind the falls as well.

We hike the waterfall trial - all of it - each year. It's hard for folks who have never seen it to understand how gorgeous the park is. Your photo is wonderful. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

Oh my goodness. It looks like something out of a picture book for sure. The moss on the trees, the water cascading. You just know you are as close to God at that moment than you will ever be in your lifetime here on earth. How beautiful is that. Thanks for sharing this wonderful, exquisite photo. 1st Place for sure!! I have signed up to follow your BLOG. I want to come back and see more. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you sign up to follow my blog as well. Country Hugs and thanks for sharing, Sherry

I love the beach and the plains but I do miss the mountains. So many wonderful glimpses of nature to see and enjoy! Beautiful!
