Blackberries

Today is the first day of autumn. The Autumnal Equinox happens at 2:18PST this afternoon. This week, my blog pictures seem to be all about beginning-of-autumn objects. The last leg of summer is officially (sadly) past, and things are in a transitional period.

You still have blackberries. Your looks so good. This is the first year for ours and they are long gone. I planted them for the birds to eat. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful blackberries! They are even side by side with the red ones. Blackberries and red berries are quite rare here in my country. The only ones I see are those in the cans.

Glossy blackberries,
hoarding sweetness from the sun,
brown bears will love you.
