Monochrome Mountain

I thought changing this picture to black and white showed the new snow on the Mt Hood top at its best. Every couple of days, the clouds cover the practically bare autumn mountain, and when it emerges again, it has a new dusting of snow. The new snow doesnt last long, but soon it will have accumulated so much that we wont see Mt Hood bare again until summer of next year!

I really like your picture. Boy already snow on your side of the world. Enjoy it I love the snow and I can't wait for it to appear on my side.

Feel free to visit.

What you might call a 'dominant feature'.

Lovely, of course I don't want snow here anytime soon. I find I like it best from a distance.

This did work well in monochrome. That is beautiful country at all times.
