I spotted this little, star shaped flower floating along with the seed fluff in the creek. Does anyone know what kind of flower this is?

I haven't the foggiest idea of what it is....it's very pretty though and looks beautiful the way it's wrapped up in the soft flowing water...
It's so soft, it looks like it has pollen all over it. Probably not, and what's it doing in the water? Interesting. There are so many plants in this ecological system that are fascinating to a newcomer like me.
I love this picture, don't recognize the flower, but it is very calming and tender.

I'm clueless too, but join the concensus that it is a pretty little flower, almost looks misplaced in it's surroundings!

It looks like a jasmine of some sort. Very dainty.
I read through all the comments to see what it might be. Bettyl seems to have come closest to guessing, but I agree with everyone, it is very pretty. And you found it floating in the creek? No leaves? No roots? Just one exquisite little blossom? Delightful.
