Heading over the mountain on the way to Thanksgiving at my Dads, we made a quick pit stop in Welches at the Hoodland Thriftway. They had put up their Christmas lights, which shone through the dawn light. The mountain silohuetted in the distance is Huckleberry Mountain, which is a foothill on the southwest side of Mt Hood. It is also the mountain I grew up on!On another note, today is the Civil War for the Rose Bowl between the OREGON STATE BEAVERS and the oregon ducks.
