Row of Icicles

The temperature when we left the car at 9:30am to hike up to Bagby Hot Springs on Sunday was 27 degrees F. It wasnt bad though. Any wind was blocked by the trees surrounding us. However, the river was surrounded by ice. When crossing one of the trails bridges, I spotted this chilly looking log that had fallen over one of the quick moving water chutes.

This is so cool! I can hardly wait to catch up here--it will probably be a while, however.
