Where has Mt Hood been?

The cloudy cover has prevented me from catching even a glimpse of Mt Hood in weeks. I know its up there. The ski reports boast pretty high snow levels:

Mt. Hood Meadows
Base Depth = 89"
Mt. Hood Ski Bowl
Base Depth = 65"
Timberline Lodge
Base Depth = 107"

If I wasnt so busy all the time (and if Hwy 26 had not been closed due to mudslides) I would take a short road trip up there! But I am sure it is more white than this picture I took of it earlier this year :)

No WAY I'm going out there!

I have not ventured outside more than I have to in the past few days. Every time you go out side you get soaked and the wind is unbearably strong. Keeping myself indoors means no new pics to post. So I am posting this old one.

Its at the Oregon Coast. I am thinking around Seal Rock, just south of Newport. I am sure this is how it looks right now. Love the clouds reflecting on the wet sand!

Guess what its doing here???

I will take heavy rain over snow or ice any day!!!

Floods

I took this picture right at dusk, and the blue color just happened that way. Farther down fast moving Johnson Creek is a huge flood area. In Gresham, however, its just fast and deep in most areas.
