With all the rain we have been having, I thought this double-rainbow picture was appropriate for Skywatch Friday. The colors just popped out of the sky. Very bold.
In the same patch of woods that I posted yesterday, this small clump of seeds still remained. I am assuming this is new, since I cant believe they made it through the entire winter without being spread. I think they have a very autumn-y look, despite it being April already!
Spring has not hit this part of the woods yet. It is still in winter slumber. No new plants, no leaves on the trees. It has been unusually cold out lately. The snow on Mt Hood has not even come close to start its spring melt...
I went to my first barbecue of the spring this weekend. Yes, it was pouring down rain, but we stayed sheltered in our friends garage while he hung out by the door and flipped the food. Soon enough, it will be bbq's a few times a week!
