Sure sign of Spring

You can tell that it is really starting to warm up significantly when the newts come out. I think they are just the cutest little things. This guy practically posed when he saw me ;)

Average Oregon Spring

Up in the Mt Hood Forest, everything is getting very thick and lush. The greens are at their peak. Everything looks very fresh. This is Still Creek outside of Rhododendron. This is my first submission for Watery Wednesday!

Happy Cinco de Mayo

I just do not have a very fitting picture for Cinco de Mayo. This comes close to showing what I want to do with my evening tho: Mexican food! (mmm, and margaritas!)

Moody Monday - Reflective

Todays Moody Monday submission is of Trillium Lake at dusk. The water was like a mirror the day I took this, and the blues were just gorgeous.

On a side note, I found out today that Trillium Lake is going to be opening May 16th for camping. I cant wait, and this takes a lot of reservation stress off me! I already have some pretty important reservations made in this campground for early this summer ;)
