I thought this was a pretty appropriate submission for this weeks Photo Thursday, which has the topic of BIG. It our area, the trees are always huge. They tower over you, forming a canopy.

I wish I would have had a better camera when I took this picture. I took it years ago. This rose was just getting ready to bloom and a mass of baby spiders had made its home on it. Unfortunatly at the time I did not own a good camera, so this is the best shot I could get. Still, its facinating, and kinda gross at the same time!

Of all the things that make me happy, the above represents one that I am craving right now. Camping on the side of a calm lake. Two weeks from today is Memorial Day, and I will be doing just that!!!
I've been tagged by James to participate in a Blogger community introduction
The rules are simple: Tag and link back to the person who tagged you. List six (un) important things that make you happy. Tag six bloggers and let them know they're "it". We all feel this blogging community to be one of inclusion and friendship.
Here are my six "happy" things:
2) stumbling upon a perfect photography opportunity
3) Oregon State Beavers football
4) my dog, Beau
6) Cazadores margarita, on the rocks, no salt
And my six tagged bloggers (in no particular order):
Have fun, and I hope thinking of things that makes you happy puts a smile on your face!!!

My boyfriend and I took my Mom out for a great lunch at McMenamins Edgefield yesterday. After eating, we walked around the extensive gardens they have. We spotted this cute birdhouse, and inside we could hear the peeping of baby birds. Sure enough, the mom popped her little head out the door and took off to find more food. My Mom suggested it would be the perfect posting for Mothers Day, and I agree.
Happy Mothers Day!!!
