I already have the camping craving again, and I have only been home a week! This is the view from our campsite last weekend. Beautiful!

Sweet

I can't think of anything sweeter or more refreshing than a strawberry straight off the vine, still warm from the sun.

Columbia River

Yesterday I had to take a quick trip up to Vancouver, Wa. to visit my brother in law (oh that sounds weird!!). When crossing the Glenn Jackson Bridge it reminded me of this picture I took of the pilings sticking out of the Columbia River, and I thought it might be a nice change from the recent lake pictures I have been posting ;) This shot was actually taken on the Washington side. Across from this spot is the Portland International Airport.

Mountain Lupine

Todays Flower is a beautiful purple mountain lupine that I saw this weekend at Little Crater Lake. There were just meadows full of them. I may go back sometime with my plant digging license and bring one home for my garden ;)

On another note, I changed the name of my blog today to Hood Photo Blog. In the months I have been doing this blogging, I rarely post a picture of my current hometown of Gresham. More likely, I am posting of the many areas around the Mt Hood area and beyond. I think it is a more appropriate description of what I am blogging about. Thanks for following!!!

Married!

In the early evening of June 12th we were finally married. Our ceremony was on the side of our favorite place, Trillium Lake. Despite a sprinkle of rain, the weekend was a great success. I love my HUSBAND ;)
