The sun WILL break through!!!

I am trying to keep hopeful that we will have a nice weekend. We deserve it after the semi-rainy ones we have had the past two weekends! I also am trying to convince my husband to go camping or something, just the two of us, this weekend. Now to convince him....

Summer = Fishing

Ask my husband and he will say the whole goal of summer is fishing as much as you can. While I am not a fisherwoman, I do enjoy being out in the peaceful outdoors on a lake or river. It is very soothing.

Mountain Swamp

This time of year, the wild grasses are starting to take over the boggy swampy areas of Mt Hood that are left over from the rapid snowmelt. This one is one of my favorites :)

Dragonfly

In the Mt Hood area, the weather is getting warmer again. The sky was pretty clear today, and the birds, insects, and other signs of early summer were out in full force.

My Sweet Husband

Last Friday was our one week anniversary :). My husband brought me these flowers to my work. He's a keeper!
