West Coast Sunset

The last of my "Oregon Coast" series for the week. Dusk seemed like a fitting closing ;)

Coastline Cluster

Its getting towards the end of the week. I am having a hard time picking which of my beach-themed pictures to post. There are so many faves. This one I think shows a very common finding on the Oregon Coast. Covering the rocks and logs near the waterline are these clusters of sea life. Barnicles, snails, mussels and the like cling to the rocks waiting for the tide to come in and cover them again so they can come out of their shells.

Nehalem Bay

There is a lot of water in this Watery Wednesday /Outdoor Wednesday submission! This is overlooking Nehalem Bay. Between the bay and the ocean is a huge jetty where there is a large state campground. When I was a kid we used to always spend Labor Day weekend there, riding horses down the beach.

Sea Anemone

In continuing with my Oregon Coast theme, today I am posting these cool sea anemones. I cant help it. I love reaching in the water and touching their sticky little tenticles and making them close!

Visiting the Oregon Coast

This weekend my husband and I went out to the Oregon Coast. I think I will follow the beach theme and post some stuff I have photographed there for a change!
