I love the RAIN right now!!!

The streak of hot weather is over!!! Today is the coolest day since July 12th. Looking outside and seeing the sprinkling rain is so refreshing. It may be something that only a pacific northwesterner would miss so terribly, but almost an entire month with out rain is very rare. Welcome back, precipitation!

This picture was taken yesterday as the clouds were rolling in. This is the Bridge of the Gods, which spans the Columbia River between Cascade Locks, OR and Stevenson, WA.

Gardening again

Years ago, I lived in a place where I had all the room to garden that a person could want. In the past few years, I have moved from apartment to apartment, and been keeping my gardening to potted plants. Not nearly as fulfilling. However, with this new chapter of our life, we have moved into a place that will eventually quinch my thirst for gardening. I cant wait!
