Welcome Piper!!!

A personal blog entry today. Last night, my best friend Ed and his wife, Desi, welcomed their first child, Piper, into the world. She was born at 12:38am this morning, and is a healthy 6lbs 13oz, 18 1/2 inches. I am so proud of them and happy for their growing family!

Lakeside Crane

I went up to Trillium Lake with my friends this weekend to take some pictures of them, and I spotted this beautiful scene.

Campfire

SOOOOO looking forward to this weekend. I am going camping with my husband, just the two of us, to our favorite campground at Still Creek. Until then, this old campfire picture will have to hold me over :)

Sunflower

I've got gardening on the brain!!! Todays Mellow Yellow submission is an obvious one. A bright, newly bloomed sunflower. The bees are out in full force as well, as you can see by my recent flower postings!

Artichoke Flower

When artichokes are not harvested in time, they bloom into this bright purple thistle flower.
