Can't Wait -- Clear Lake Camping

This weekend, my husband and I and his family are all camping up at Clear Lake. Its one of our favorite camping destinations, and we have not been there yet this year. I cant wait!!!! This pic was taken during a previous camping trip.

Autumn Apples

These are the last of the apples clinging to their tree. Under the tree, the ground below is covered with ones that have already given up and dropped.

Pretty home for a spider

Most people think spiders are gross, but I think they are fascinating. They make for great photography subjects, with their silky webs. There are tons of autumn spiders out right now. This one made a nice home on my moms cosmos plant.

Blackberries

Today is the first day of autumn. The Autumnal Equinox happens at 2:18PST this afternoon. This week, my blog pictures seem to be all about beginning-of-autumn objects. The last leg of summer is officially (sadly) past, and things are in a transitional period.

Lost Leaf

It is SOOO windy around here today! The leaves are escaping their branches. This lost leaf looks like he may have been tree-less for a while though ;)
