
These flowers are all over our area. This time of year the go to seed, putting off these clumps of cotton-like tuft to float away in the fall winds.

All the forecasts are telling us that the rainy season is right around the corner. This weekend should be mostly clear, but then starting next week the clouds, like the ones pictured, will take over the skies and the long months of rain will begin. I am suprised, actually, that it has held out as long as it has! Gotta love the great northwest :)
