Photo Friday: Autumn 09

Photo Fridays theme this week is Autumn 2009. I have taken a handful of pictures this autumn so far, but I chose this particular photo for a more personal reason. In August, my husband and I moved into a house and this is the large tree in the front yard. I think it best represents where we have gotten to in our life this year.

Water Droplets on my Pumpkin

My pumpkin is sitting outside waiting patiently for me to get the time to carve it. While it waits, however, it seems to get rained on quite often. I thought it made for a nice autumn picture.


I also realized that I passed my year anniversary of blogging (Oct 9!!). A year goes by so fast...

I <3 Mushrooms

I love this time of year most of all because of the mushrooms. We have so many unique varieties that appear in the autumn. This one has always been my favorite. It stands about 4 inches tall, which is pretty impressive for a delicate fungi!

No Play Today

The rain has been falling at a steady pace the past week or so. But I hear sometime this week its supposed to stop and we will have some dry fall days. I hope! I need to get out and take some pictures!!!
