Morrison Bridge lit OSU Beaver Orange

Starting yesterday, and running thru December 3rd when the Oregon State vs Oregon "Civil War" game is held, private donations have been made to light the Morrison Bridge orange, in celebration of our OSU Beavers. The winner of the annual rivalry will claim the Rose Bowl game this season. I just HAD to go downtown to get this picture tonight before leaving for the holiday weekend. GO BEAVS!!!!

Portland Trailblazers!!!

Last night my husband and I, his brother and his girlfriend went to the Blazers vs Bulls game at the Rose Garden. The Blazers kicked butt, winning 122-98. I only had my little play camera and was sitting in the 300 section (so pretty high up) but still got this fun shot of the "play of the day". Good times!!!

Snowboarding time!!!

This is a view of Mt Jefferson taken through a ski lift up at Timbeline on Mt Hood. Its snowboarding (and skiing) time again!!! With the cloudy, wet weather we have been having, the snow levels are higher than normal. Typically the resorts on the mountain aim to open on Thanksgiving weekend, but they opened weeks early this year!
