This time of year it seems there are a LOT of swampy areas around. This one caught my eye for the awesome variety of colors. The water was very green with new algea, and the plants in the water still showed their red branches.

Lovely shot, and yes great red grasses. we also get a type in South Africa which goes vivid red and from a distance looks magnificent!
