Memaloose Lake

Memaloose Lake is in the Clackamas wilderness. You hike through an old growth forest and come upon this little known lake. Up until late spring there is still snow in patches, as seen here. And if you are into checking out salamanders, this is a great spot!

Looks like a nice hike but I think I would wait until the snow is gone.

OOhhh! I would love taking shots of salamanders. Wish I lived nearby. Seems a very good place to walk and just smell the fresh air too.
