A very nice tribute to our service people. There are too many sights like this. I cannot understand why we are fighting sometimes.
What a meaningful post. Happy Blue Monday.
I'm glad to see another Memorial Day posting! I went to a very moving celebration at a nearby national cemetery this morning!
Happy Memorial Day!!!:)Blessings!!!:)
I'm so sorry for your loss. Jaimey was such a young man. The meaning of Memorial Day has been lost in the blow out mattress sales.
LV I so agree. I was in the Canadian Navy , now my son is in the the Canadian Army, He is soon to be in Afghanistan. I hope and pray that he comes home well and alive. That said I would never stop him from doing what he feels must be done. I was in Bosnia so I understand the dedication, but it is so different when it is the kids and not your self.
Lovely photo, and words!! And Thank you, and Thanks to him!! God Bless!feel free to see my Ruby Tuesday photo (a Memorial Day tribute as well) here: http://itsmycameraseye.blogspot.com/2010/06/ruby-tuesday-tribute.html
