When I was working in my garden a while back, I came across this pleasant surprise. I wonder how long this little frog made a home in my clay pots ;)

Gotta wonder what he lived on -- hopefully some frog food (flies? other bugs?) fell into the pot for him. A great shot, fortuitous for this week. (I must get out of the habit of the letter F.)

Frogs and clay just go together - a great capture! I'm jealous because we have no frogs at all in the garden this year. Usually they hang around in the clay hose pot.

Don't ya just love when that happens? I had one living in one of my containers with flowers on the deck a couple of years ago. I named him Clem, short for Clem Kadiddlehopper. I love listening to them in a choir at night when I'm laying in bed.
I love finding surprises like that in my garden and yard. We have toads in our yard that go into hibernation in Sept. and we don't see them until late June or when the rains come.
