Home Sweet Home

I'm Baaaaccckkkk!!!

My husband and I have returned from a 9 day vacation. We traveled to California, visited friends and family, and came home in time to watch the college football opening games.

Seeing the bare, late summer Mt Hood on the horizon means I'm home, and theres no place like it. I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful area. Traveling makes me appreciate it even more :)

Great post for the H Day! I love Mt. Hood and while I can't see it anymore at least I have Mt. Rainier! How fortunate we are to live in the Northwest! Have a wonderful day!

Sometimes the most beautiful place to be is Home. And your view is lovely.

Great view. I agree that it's fun to travel & visit friends & relatives but there's really no place like home sweet home. :)

I love this photo of your world. Mt. Hood is spectacular in any season. I'm jealous of all the green. We've been in a bit of drought in the NE. This is a sight for eyes tired of brown.

Welcome home.

Great photo and great post. You must post it again somehow when Mt. Hood is covered with snow!

Lovely. I know the feeling, returning to the first sight of home mountains can't be beaten.

Did ya click your heels together?? No place like home...
I can see how that mountain would be an anchoring kind of thing.
