I think theres something peaceful about this single leaf I found, just resting on the sidewalk. It layed alone there, covered by the morning rain. And you can't beat the pretty autumn colors!

I love fall foliage. i have a couple of red leaves that I pressed into a book. One is from New Hampshire in about 1985 and the other is from San Rafael, in California, from the mid-90's.
So very pretty! I love the vibrant colors and the drops of rain.
It is that time of the season isn't it. Great color contrast really make the leaf 'pop'.
Yes, it is peaceful. I see them here in downtown Portland, too.
