There are a lot of these clear cut areas around the mountain area. If you look closely, you can see the baby trees that have been planted though. Hope for the future, I guess. Kinda reminds me of my front yard now, after the tree I wrote about a few weeks ago has been taken down. My yard and its one tree is a much smaller scale, of course.

I loathe clearcut. I hate how it looks. I don't care if they did replant trees. Fat lot of good that does now. I am not a fan of the logging industry at all.
Thank goodness that who ever cut this trees they do replant it. It would be a devastation if our mountains doesn't have any trees. Great capture thanks for sharing. Happy weekend!

Never good but sometimes necessary. The clearcutting of Pine Beetle damage has begun here in Colorado. Always sad.
