This random creek on the side of the Clackamas River Highway barely qualifies as an actual "waterfall" around here. But because the water is flowing so heavily right now, it was impressive enough to deserve pulling to the side of the road for a picture. I didnt stay out there long. It was very cold and started snowing shortly afterwards.
Happy first day of Winter, Northern Hemisphere :)

Fantastic capture and I do love waterfalls -- even small ones and with the heavy rains, this one is more than small and how gorgeous it is and the colors, too, are perfect! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy!

Oh this is gorgeous. Do you carry your tripod around in your car, too, just in case you run across a shot like this? :)

Beautiful waterfall! Made me think of all the waterfalls in Hawaii. There are a whole slew of them off the road on he way to Hana, Maui.

Lovely shot. The damp, chilly days are beautiful but I would like to see the warmth again. I guess I should go to the Southern hemisphere.
