Stormy weather rolling in

Monday thru Thursday of last week, my husband and I were in Lincoln City at the beach. The first two days were gorgeous. Come Wednesday, the storms started rolling in. This picture was taken at dusk on Tuesday night. You can see the winds starting to pick up, blowing the distant tree, and the clouds rolling in.

Surf over coastal rocks

Oops! I almost forgot to post a pic today! This is another simple ocean view. Funny how simple the coast beauty is. I took this just as the surf was hitting the back of this barnicle-encrusted rock formation.

Erosion

Todays picture is simple, but I think its pretty cool. The tide was going out, and the waves were taking out sand, leaving these ripples in the sand. It was like the beach was melting away ... a fast forward on the usually slow erosion that the waves cause!
