The weather has been pretty nice here lately. In the morning, its cloudy, but by noon, the clouds burn off and expose a warm blue sky. During the cloud burnoff, you can often see Mt Hood wearing her "hood", or a cap of clouds that seem to get stuck on the tip of her peak.Friday, March 26, 2010

Memaloose Lake
Memaloose Lake is in the Clackamas wilderness. You hike through an old growth forest and come upon this little known lake. Up until late spring there is still snow in patches, as seen here. And if you are into checking out salamanders, this is a great spot!
