End of the day at the beach

I think I've been spotted!
Last Friday, when we were at the beach, it was pretty rainy. However, being that we are Oregonians, we do not let a little rain ruin our good time. We just build a big bonfire on the sand, and set up our quickshade (which was actually more of a "Quick, Rain!!") and continued to have fun. One of my favorite parts of being at the coast is the crabbing. We did ok. Caught lots of crabs that were too small to keep. This was one of the small ones that we had to let go. He just kinda froze when I went in to take a picture of him. Good little model!Wednesday, April 28, 2010

The Ocean in Oregon

This past weekend we visited the little Oregon town of Neskowin. On the beach in Neskowin is a "ghost forest". A few years ago, a series of heavy storms moved enough sand off the beach to reveal the stumps of an old forest that is estimated to be around 2000 years old.

Colorful Surf Bubbles

We spent the weekend at the Oregon Coast, in the small town of Neskowin. This week I will be posting pictures of the trip on my blog. I hoped that this picture would turn out when I was taking it. The rainbow of colors did come through!
