Central Oregon Landscape

This weekend, I am going to east to see my Dad for Fathers Day. Last time I went out to central Oregon, we came across this picture perfect scene.

Salamanders

Is it just me, or does it look like this little salamander is checking me out, the same as I am checking him out? Trillium Lake has tons of these cute little guys. My husband hates them. When he is fishing with worms, he often catches them on his line. But I always insist he is nice to them and gently frees them ;)

Saturday the 12th was my husband and my first wedding anniversary. For lunch, we went to the historic Timberline Lodge. We were lucky enough to be seated a the window table, and this was our amazing view. You can clearly see Mt Jefferson, and over to the right, a small sliver of Trillium Lake (where we were married) can be seen.

Dragonfly

I just love dragonflies. They are so delicate, and their wings are so detailed. At Trillium Lake, they were flying around everywhere. There were yellow ones, like this guy. But I also spotted green, brown, and blue ones. Beautiful!!!
