Last weekend I went out stargazing/meteor watching with my mom at a spot out in the country we know of. While we waited for the sky to get dark and the stars to come out, there was this beautiful sunset. I am glad that I got this photo, because shortly after this was taken, the moon actually went down!!!

Below the Little Zig Zag Falls, the Little Zig Zag River sticks to its name, winding through the dense forest on its way to join up with larger rivers downstream.

I panicked a little on this weeks ABC Wednesday letter -- E! What in the world would I post for E? Then I remembered the meadow of Pearly Everlasting that I was wandering through two weekends ago and thought it would be perfect. The flowers and stems can be dried and used in decorations. I just think it is simple and pretty alone.

I got a free packet of chamomile seeds when I ordered some bulbs earlier this year. I just threw them out in an open corner of my garden, not caring what they did. They grew tho ... well!!! I have a ton of hardy chamomile, plenty to make a lot of tea from my crop! I often see these cute ladybugs hiding in the patch. I dont mind at all. They help keep the bad bugs away!
