The smallest of sunbreak can be a welcome relief when facing the stretch of rainy, wet weather we have been having. Before you know it, the sun is gone again though!

Below Sahalie Falls
A few weeks ago I posted about visiting Sahalie Falls up near Mt Hood Meadows. When you stood on the old bridge to take a photo of the falls themselves, you could look straight down and see this view of a small waterfall. I wish I could have hiked below to take a more straight forward shot, but it was not an easy slope to navigate and suicide was not on my agenda that day. ;)

Quote

ABC Wednesdays letter this week is 'Q'. OUCH! Hard one!
At my favorite place (Trillium Lake) there is this stone plaque on the ground that displays the following quote:
"Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it" -- Goethe
This plaque is probably buried under snow about now :(
