This past weekend, I took a drive up Hwy 224/Clackamas Hwy outside of Estacada up into the Mt Hood National Forest. The highway winds along the Clackamas River. This view is one of my favorite. The river is down in a deep valley, and the water is so green and pretty.

This random creek on the side of the Clackamas River Highway barely qualifies as an actual "waterfall" around here. But because the water is flowing so heavily right now, it was impressive enough to deserve pulling to the side of the road for a picture. I didnt stay out there long. It was very cold and started snowing shortly afterwards.
Happy first day of Winter, Northern Hemisphere :)

It snowed just a little bit yesterday right at dusk. It had been very cold all day, but there was no precipitation. When a bit of moisture did hit the air, it dusted a fine layer on the ground. By morning, it was all gone though.
