I dont normally post on the weekends, but I am waiting for my husband to wake up and thought, what the heck. I have a few weekend memes I never try, so I checked out my two Saturdays memes (PhotoHunt and Camera Critters) and opened up my archives. This old goose caught my eye. I remember when I took this photo a few years ago. He was just standing there, and didnt move as I inched in closer. His left leg was oddly stretched out. I was not concerned. When I was growing up my mom had geese and this pose is pretty common. I snapped the photo right before he turned around and glared at me for disturbing his meditation.
Have a good weekend everyone!

A handsome goose to show us and I think he was doing goose aerobatics!
My sister lives in Eugene. Warm regards from EAGAN daily photo in cold, snowy Minnesota
A handsome beast and a great take on the theme!
What a funny old bird! I have heard that goose is tasty... I imagine this one would not be impressed by my comment! ;-)
Neat photo! I've seen the geese down on our neighborhood pond standing like this also -- it looks so awkward but it seems to work for them :-)
Visiting from Camera Critters
Is the goose trying out for Goose Pond (that not so well known cousin of Swan Lake), I wonder?! ;b
That's a great pic and perfect for the theme!!

Welcome to PhotoGunt. I don't always get to it, but it's always fun. I love your photo. The goose looks like he is practicing his ballet moves.
a dancing goose?:p
welcome to Photo Hunt!
Great capture, looks like you caught him doing his stretching exercises.
I hope your husband will always sleep longer from now on, because I like the goose picture, it's so funny ! lol !
This goose does look like he is doing yoga or is in some sort of ballet position.... I couldn't balance like that on one foot for very long.
Standing
your braver than i am for getting so near to it!
a brilliant capture!
What a great shot! I've never seen a goose do that. Geese scare me though, they can be mean.
