I'm (mostly) back from the dead! Having the flu is not a fun way to start your new year. I was able to get out before the flu crippled me to my bed over the weekend and take this wintery photo of Multnomah Falls. I love it when the mist ices up the cliffs surrounding the 620 drop of water. Another plus - they block off the bridge so there are no pesky tourists blocking an otherwise pristine view!

Wintery Multnomah Falls
I'm (mostly) back from the dead! Having the flu is not a fun way to start your new year. I was able to get out before the flu crippled me to my bed over the weekend and take this wintery photo of Multnomah Falls. I love it when the mist ices up the cliffs surrounding the 620 drop of water. Another plus - they block off the bridge so there are no pesky tourists blocking an otherwise pristine view!

Glad to hear that you are on the mend! What a great shot of the falls. I went there once, in mid-Sept. and they weren't quite as impressive as they must be after the run off in the spring. Still it was really beautiful. I picked up a Multnomah Falls cross stitch kit in the gift shop and it came out pretty good if I don't say so myself!
I was there in 1976. It is fabulous, and so is your photo. glad you're feeling better. happy WW.
Now that is a sight I would love to see with my own eyes but I expect I will have to be content with your lovely photo.
Oh, honey, I'm sorry that you've been ill. Thank goodness you are getting better. Mama's croupy coughing this evening so I called the after-hours-nurse and we're headed to her primary care doctor tomorrow.
