I chose to post this photo I took this past summer of a pretty zinnia for a few reasons. It is "Z" day on ABC Wednesday. It is Ruby Tuesday. And because it is so gloomy and so cold out right now, I figured we all needed a quick reminder of what is to come in future months. Spring will be here someday, and with it, beautiful flowers and bright colors. I cant wait, how about you? ;)

Oh, thank you for that bright, beautiful spot of color!! You're right! It's exactly what's needed on this cold, gray, grumpy, grim day!! Hope you get a little sun this week! Our chances here in Seattle don't look good!! Stay warm!

What a beautiful photo. My grandmother used to grow zinnias. Thanks for the memory

Thanks, I needed that, it's all so grey outside.
Beautiful radiant flowers and can be found in so many many colors. Happy flowers!!
I love zinnias. They remind me of fireworks.
That is a beautiful Zennia and I am so looking forward to Spring, we have snow today, and it is Cold outside. I want the nice warm weather.
Ah, Spring and beautiful flowers. Thanks for the Zinnias on this chilly and grey day.
Zinnia are magical in a hot, dry garden! This one is such a gorgeous shade of red.
Stunning!
I love seeing flowers on such cold and gloomy days. We are expecting a snow fall today and flowers are a nice distraction from the waiting!
Great photo!
You were certainly right, on all counts. Lovely warm picture for my -21C afternoon. (That's 6 degrees Fahrenheit.)
Thanks for the zing of warmth.

Beautiful zinnia! I can't wait. We've been getting snow since last night. I'm already tired of snow.

The third zinnia photo I've visited today! I love the red of yours!
