The new plants that have sprouted new leaves and buds over the past few weeks better watch out. The forecast is calling for snow and cold temperatures over the next 5 days. This AM there was snow mixed with the typical raindrops on my way to work.

Cold temps and rain are forecast farther south in the Sacramento area.
Is that chickweed? It looks beautiful with its frosting.
The frost on the leaves makes a great photo!

Such a exquisite capture -- even though it does look sooooo cold!! We're having some showers/snow/wind and chilly temps along with some beautiful skies -- changes every hour!! At least it isn't dull!! Great post for the F Day! Have a great day!

We had heavy frost 2 days ago too. These storms just keep coming and are raising havock with my fruit tree blossoms.
Perfect post for the letter F.
frost here too! winter is still with us.
That is a gorgeous pic. We're supposed to get snow too. :/
it's really cold here for another day, then better weather ahead (I hope)
good shot.

The frost is so lovely on the leaves. I hope it doesn't hurt the plant.
Beautiful photo. Snow here overnight and through most of the morning. More on the way along with -0 nights. Really hard on these early spring starts. Good luck!
What a fantastic shot! When I took the garbage out to the curb today, I noticed hailstones in the grass! Not quite spring yet! Have a good week,

Beautiful photo of frost on the leaves. Here we don't have leaves yet for the frost to bother!

This is the unpredictable season. Sun one day, hail the next. Right now we're enjoying a few balmy days until the next rain storm.
Oooo.....this time of year, frost can be fatal for some of the new growth. Next to heavy winds. Pretty image!
It looks like more snow for your area.... my daughter is in Reno right now and they might get a little, no where near what will come down in the mountains though. Good luck. Hopefully, we will have warmer weather from now on... but, currently it is 28 so who knows.
What a pretty photo - crystals and all! :-)
