On a clear day, Mt Hood practically glows. Right now, it doesnt appear that there is any bare rock showing through the thick snow base. In the Sandy River valley below, you can see the remains of the heavy snow they had over a few days last week. Off to the north side, the smoke from someones fireplace - much needed, since when I was out taking this photo, my hands were FREEZING!

Winter Hood
On a clear day, Mt Hood practically glows. Right now, it doesnt appear that there is any bare rock showing through the thick snow base.
