How was everyone's weekend? Mine was great! A good balance of fun things to do, great people to see and hang out with, and time to relax and catch up on much needed napping ;)
Today's photo is a macro of a "baby" sword fern frond. It's the perfect time of year to see these. The forest is covered in them! And of course, the rainfall helps!

I swear you and Victoria Daily Photo collaborate the night before on what you are going to post. That blog did a coiled fern post today as well!
Back east, in Maine where I went to college, my roomie and I used to pick fiddleheads in the woods, cook em up in our hot pot and eat em w/ butter, salt and pepper. nummy!
Absolutely wonderful macro!!!
Glad to be following you...
Awesome lighting and texture...one fine shot. We do not have any ferns like this here in Virginia that I have seen on our hikes. I wish we did have them because they are amazing. Fine photography.
