Today is my first day back to work from my mini-vacation. My husband and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary by camping over the weekend. The weather up in the Mt Hood National Forest was perfect. We stayed at Clear Lake, and this was the view from our tent. The water was only a few feet away, and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Glad you had a enjoyable mini-vacation with good weather. I have visited the Portland area several times and have been to Mt. Hood, but the weather has never cooperated.

love that view of the lake
there's something special about pine trees

Vacations are so wonderful, whether they are long or mini ones. Our day at the River felt like a vacation too.
Happy Anniversary practically newlyweds.

Looks like you had a lovely spot! Did you swim or is the water too cold?

Nice view to wake up to.
Is there a blackfly season over there?
If so, isn't that about now?
That is what camping reminds me off :-(
