I am back from my relaxing vacation. I spent 4 gorgeous days camping at two lakes on Mt Hood. This week I will post some of the photos I was able to snap between fishing and napping HAHA!
I came across this brightly colored shelf fungus while hiking northeast of Trillium Lake.

Very interesting and fun to look at. I lived in Salem as a child and I have never recovered. The beauty lives with me still.
Welcome back! This fungus is the colour of candy corn! I'm sure it doesn't taste as good as candy corn though.
