You would think, with the gusty winds and number of leaves that have been constantly falling, that the trees would all be bare. But there are still a lot of trees that have not even started to lose their leaves yet!

We are thick with leaves here in New England too. Foliage came kind of late too.
Very nice photo. I love all the little bits of shrubery laying next to the leaf. Nice color/composition. - Lots of trees here still losing their leaves as well.
