The face in the clouds

Do you see the face? Perhaps its Mother Nature looking down on us, telling us not to give up, that the sunny days are coming. This was taken on a particularly rainy, yucky day. Right at dusk, the clouds opened up and sun shined through.

I updated by blog a bit. What do you think?

A Bit of Oregon Paradise

This little cabin in the woods is my idea of paradise. It is so secluded, surrounded by water on one side and looming mountains on the other. I am not sure how whoever lives there actually gets to the home!

I have not been to the Oregon coast in months and months. I have been craving a trip over there for a long time now. On a previous visit I was walking along and spotted this tiny jellyfish in the sand. It was no larger than a quarter. I am very glad I saw it before I stepped on it!!!

(PS) If you are a Facebook User, I would appreciate you taking just a few moments to click over and vote "thumbs up" on my submission for a Portland Oregon Photography Project. Today is the last day they are accepting votes before selecting their top ten finalists!

My photo can be found at http://bit.ly/vote4hoodphoto. Thanks so much!!!

White Magnolia

I love this tree. It sits in my husbands parents yard on the edge of a small pond. Every spring its one of the first trees to bloom in the neighborhood, and is appropriate for posting during this first official week of Spring!
