A fairly typical summer day in my neck of the woods of Oregon begins with the sky being overcast, and by 11 or noon, the clouds have burned off to reveal the warm day. From there the temperatures rise into the 80's. With the overcast mornings, however, everything is often covered in a layer of dew. I spotted this right outside my back door. The spiderweb on my plant had caught the droplets in it overnight.

My daughter moved to Portland 2 years ago. I've visited there twice and understands why she loves it so. The photography opportunities alone are a huge bonus!!
