A few weeks ago I posted
this photo of a yellow ladybug that I had found on a walk. Since then, I have seen a few more. Last week I spotted this one while watering my garden (I accidentally sprayed him before he caught my eye, but no harm done), molting the last of his pupal skin to transform from a rather gross wormy looking thing to a cute ladybug!

Oh my gosh, I would've never known. Interesting...very interesting.
Great capture!
We have many ladybugs, i even posted to Proj Noah a testudinate ladybug to know its ID. But i still haven't seen or haven't observed yet a pupa like that, i wonder why all this life i haven't. I wonder where they are hiding here! :-))
Never seen that before and in fact, i've never seen a lady bug in it's worm state!
I've never seen one before...
Looks like I've already "liked" you on FB, but I'm glad I headed your way to catch up on your photos here! Beautiful mountains, cute critters, lovely nature. Thanks so much for sharing! --Sharyl ~ Sharyl's Jewelry
P.S. I didn't even know lady bugs got their start like this! I don't know what my guess would have been had I seen this! :-)
Interesting and great shot!
