On Monday, I posted a picture of a single butterfly on a thistle. It had been a goal to capture the butterfly on a flower after a request message I received on this blogs Facebook page. While I was satisfied with the image I posted Monday, I was more pleased with this one because of the three butterflies all at once!
After much deliberation, I have decided to begin a photo meme on Hood Photo Blog! I have always wanted to host a meme, and the inspiration came to me.
I love the color ORANGE. It is a challenging color to come by sometimes, but with the coming autumn season, there will be orange in abundance. So my photo meme theme will be based after my beloved favorite color.
Every Friday 12:01am PST, I will open the blog up for posts. Rules are the same as at most other memes. Post a picture that you have taken or have permission to use with a little or a lot of orange, share your link below, visit others, leave a comment if you wish.
Instead of me posting something orange every week, I will feature a favorite photo or two from the previous week with a link to the photographers blog. (Today, since it was the first week, I have posted my own work, but in the future it could be yours!)

Orange is something I have to gravitate towards, its a beautiful colour as I have found out now that I am looking out for orange but I cant wear it or I can force myself to wear it if I dont look at it myself hahaha. I have a friend who hates orange so she will get that orange knitted sock featured in this weeks post
